A 3 ingredient vegan pie crust? Tell me more….Well this moist and sweet pie crust is just as easy to eat, you may not even get to the pie filling! I usually don’t, and that’s totally ok, one of the best things about raw desserts is that you can eat them so many ways. In fact this crust is so versatile, you can use it for raw cookies, bars, breakfast, you can even add it to your smoothie! Although I consider this the ultimate all purpose crust, it’s also good to play around with the different nuts for different flavors. Let me know what you come up with in the comment box below!
Raw Vegan Pie Crust Recipe
1c Macadamia Nuts
1/2c Date Paste
1. Slowly mix ingredients together with the pulse function of a food processor — and your lovely hands! You may find it easier if you mix everything in small batches
2. Press mix evenly into a 9” pie pan then store in the freezer with a freezer bag or immediately fill with your favorite pie filling. Check out my easy pumpkin pie recipe here.
